FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a lock, where the lock is suitable for locking, for example, a shipping container or other, where the lock in principle appears as a padlock or a loose one. lock for use with other locking equipment or for direct locking to an object. Background of the Invention Various types of padlocks are known and have been known for many years. However, its use has become more and more sophisticated over the years and safety has also been optimized considerably.
An example of both a use and a known type of lock is shown in US 9,341,002B2, which indicates a bracket, but which also shows a padlock of a newer known type.
This is a strong padlock in high alloy steel, and with smart locking which blocks a locking pawl close to the end of the groove in the locking body, which faces away from the tip of the locking pawl. This is smart, as the locking pawl is actually double-acting in this way. During a burglary attempt, it will be necessary to cut or cut the locking pawl in two places, namely on both sides of the groove / recess in the locking body itself, in order to be able to remove enough of the locking pawl, to also be able to remove the padlock. This is achieved as the locking pawl is fixed in the locking body at both one end and the other end.
Such a padlock can be fixed and thus included in a fixed installation, as the padlock is made with threaded holes, for fixed mounting. Of course, it can also be used as a loose lock.
However, there are several disadvantages to this type of lock and one of the major disadvantages is a high manufacturing cost. Another is that a lock cylinder cannot be freely selected, as this lock is manufactured for a specific cylinder type.
DK 2019 70486 A1 2 Another costly factor is that both the front plate and the locking body here are made with corresponding dovetail grooves for fastening the front plate in front of the locking cylinder in the locking body. Precisely these dovetail tracks are costly to produce.
This lock is also semi-automatic, which means that auxiliary springs are included to open and lock the padlock. These technical features also help to make the product expensive and as there are more moving parts - also more vulnerable if accidental dirt enters the lock. This is particularly problematic as this lock cannot be opened immediately for service without the use of special tools.
Object of the invention It is the object of the invention to provide a lock which is easy to use, which is simple in its construction, and which is arranged so that different types of locking cylinders can be used easily and effortlessly in the same locking body and with the same locking pawl.
It is a further object of the invention to provide a lock which is easy to service and which can be used as a loose lock, or which can be attached to a locking bracket via holes, for example threaded holes or through holes.
Description of the invention According to a first aspect of the invention, the above object is achieved with a lock / padlock which can adopt a cylinder lock (GB: cylinder lock). The locking cylinder can, by means of a skirt and / or a jacket, be of different type (shape), for example 8-number cylinder, snowman-cylinder, oval-cylinder, DIN-cylinder (profile cylinder, euro-cylinder, drip), but not limited to these. According to another aspect, the invention also relates to a method of assembling the lock. In other words, the locking cylinder can be of any common type, as mentioned, by means of a skirt or sheath (hereinafter referred to as sheath or cylinder sheath) or the like, it is adapted to a recess adapted thereto in the locking body itself. The padlock thus has a multifunction understood in such a way that it can cover a wide range in relation to the user being able to choose a particularly specific type of cylinder, depending on what is common in the part of the world where the lock is to be used. This is a typical wish
DK 2019 70486 A1 3 a user of a padlock, that the padlock can be used together with a cylinder type that is in general trade at the geographical location where the padlock is desired to be used.
The lock can be made of a suitable material, however typically in metal such as in a suitable type of steel, which is traded at most steel wholesalers. The lock according to the invention can be manufactured significantly cheaper than similar locks, which is primarily possible due to shorter processing time and the fact that the same lock body can be used for many different types of cylinders. The lock can also be manufactured using standard tools.
The padlock may comprise a so-called front plate, a cover plate or a locking cap, hereinafter the term "front plate" is used, which has the purpose partly to center the locking cylinder in the locking body, and partly to protect the locking cylinder against mechanical attack, for example by attempting , to break open the padlock. At the same time, the front plate also has the purpose of protecting the lock cylinder from being dismantled, or removed, or otherwise removed from the padlock, for example for the purpose of opening the padlock without the use of a straight key. The front plate is designed so as to fit in a corresponding cut-out / milling in the locking body of the padlock, wherein said recess is intended to encircle the sides of the front plate, so that the locking body protects the sides of the front plate against a possible attempt to break the padlock. This could be tried, for example, by removing the front plate, whereby it will be possible to remove the lock cylinder, in order to be able to open the padlock without the use of a straight key.
However, the front plate has an extension in the longitudinal direction of the cylinders, which is also the direction that the keyhole has, ie into the cylinder, the rest means that it is not possible to tilt the front plate free of the locking body. The longer the faceplate extends into the recess in the locking body, the more cumbersome, or even impossible, it will be to remove the faceplate with either force or other mechanical abrasion. On at least one of the sides or surfaces of the front plate there is at least one recess, which is designed, for example, as a cylindrical hole, a threaded hole, a recess,
DK 2019 70486 A1 4 or other, in which a locking device can be fixed. Such a locking device may consist of a rod, a ball, a screw, a bolt, or other suitable device, or alternatively combinations thereof. The locking body can advantageously have a corresponding recess for the same locking device, whereby the front plate is fixed to and in the locking body. The purpose of the locking device is to fix the front plate in the locking body, and thus block it from being able to be removed from the locking body. For the same reason, the faceplate is very important in order to protect the lock cylinder.
The front plate is designed in such a way that with the right fixation, it can either be fixed as a permanent solution, where it is not desired that the locking cylinder can be dismantled. This can be done, for example, by using a pipe split or a mandrel which is pressed into place in the said recesses in the cylinder and / or locking body, respectively. A loose locking device can also be mounted in the mentioned recesses, after which, for example, a hardened steel ball is mounted, which is pressed down into the recess. With such a solution, the possibility of drilling out the locking device is prevented. Another possibility is that the front plate is fixed in such a way that it is possible, with the right tools and / or key, to disassemble the front plate, for example to be able to disassemble, replace or mount a locking cylinder. The fixing point or the recess in which the locking device for the front plate is located is in a preferred variant, when the lock is closed, covered by a locking pawl, locking bolt, locking bar, and it is thus not possible to access the locking device or the recess in which it is placed. the padlock is locked. The front plate of the lock, the cylinder of the lock and / or the locking body can also be connected to a locking device which is not covered with a locking bolt or the like, but which is then blocked from attack in other ways, for example by a steel ball or another type "not drillable" item is placed in front of the locking device itself, or even constitutes the locking device in its entirety. In such a case, either the workpiece in front of the locking device and / or the locking device is best designed so that it is pressed into place in either the locking body and / or in the front plate and / or in the cylinder.
DK 2019 70486 A1 The front plate can be designed so that on the side facing the locking cylinder, it comprises a cylinder cover which partly encircles the locking cylinder and partly holds the locking cylinder in the desired position. The front plate and the cylinder cover can thus be one-piece, but can also consist of an independent front plate and an independent cylinder cover. See more about it below and in the drawing. On the outer side of the faceplate, i.e. the side from which a key will preferably have to be inserted into a locking cylinder, a hole, a cut-out, a cut-out is constructed which allows a key to be inserted through the constructed hole, cut-out, cut-out , in order to be able to insert a suitable key further into the mounted locking cylinder, in order thereby, with the right key, to be able to activate the locking cylinder, in order to unlock or lock the padlock.
The front plate may be arranged to extend a smaller distance into the locking body or it may be arranged to enclose the locking cylinder and extend further into the locking body and thus also comprise a cylinder cover.
In a variant, the front plate can be with a cylinder shell and have a depth corresponding to the length of a locking cylinder and be designed so that it fits one or more specific types of locking cylinder. However, it will primarily be designed to suit a specific cylinder type.
The front plate alone can also be designed to fit a number of different 1-cylinder cylinders and at the same time fit a specific cylinder sheath designed for the respective cylinder types. A locking cylinder will thus be surrounded by such a replaceable cylinder cover and a loose front plate, which is either universally or specifically designed for a cylinder type, where both the cylinder, cover and front plate are fixed in the locking body as described above and below.
At the bottom of the said bore or cut-out for the locking cylinder in the locking body, a so-called carrier, which is intended to transfer the movement, can be placed from the
DK 2019 70486 A1 6 movement coming from the lock cylinder when a suitable key inserted in the lock cylinder is turned clockwise or counterclockwise, respectively, to either lock or open the lock.
The carrier may be designed so that at the end facing the back of the locking cylinder it contains a connection point or a form of coupling to which the movement from the locking cylinder is transmitted.
The body of the padlock - the locking body, ie the part of the padlock which contains the locking cylinder, the front plate, the carrier, etc., can be designed (seen from one side) as a rectangle, where an open one is formed from one edge at the top grooves which form a passage where the padlock may partially enclose an eye, eyelet, padlock bracket, perforated plate or the like. This will be described in more detail in the drawing description and appear from the drawings.
The parts of the locking body which are to the right and left of the said track, respectively, and which are higher than the horizontal lower part of the track, are called towers. There are thus two towers, namely partly the central tower and partly an end tower, where the central tower is closest to the center of the locking body while the end tower is closest to one end of the locking body.
Seen from the same side, to the right and left of this groove, respectively, a transverse hole is constructed in the longitudinal direction of the locking body, which in the central tower closest to the front plate is continuous, and which at the end of the tower furthest from the front plate, preferably closed at the end of the tower furthest from the track.
The purpose of the transverse hole is to be able to receive a so-called locking pawl, locking bolt, locking bar, which when the padlock is "unlocked", can be moved in a straight line, thereby releasing the groove so that the padlock is open and can be removed any bracket or similar . Since the transverse hole in the end tower is preferably a bottom hole, it is thus not possible to access the locking pawl from the end, whereby an increased security is obtained. In the central tower, which is the closest to the front plate, a hole may be constructed between the transverse hole and the carrier inside the locking body. In the hole which is between the transverse hole and the carrier, the previously mentioned blocking device can be placed,
DK 2019 70486 A1 7 which locking device may, for example, be one or more metal or steel balls, metal or steel rods, or combinations of either balls or rods.
Combinations of balls and springs, and / or of several identical or dissimilar rods can also be used.
All or selected parts of a barrier device can be made of the same or in different materials depending on needs and design criteria.
In a preferred variant of a lock according to the invention, the locking device has two purposes.
The sole purpose of forming a link between the carrier and the locking pawl so that when the right key is inserted into the locking cylinder and rotated, in one direction movement will be transmitted from the locking cylinder to the carrier, which will transmit movement to the locking device, which will block the locking pawl in a straight line in the previously mentioned transverse hole.
When the straight key is rotated in the opposite direction, the locking device will allow the locking pawl to be moved in a straight line, and thus lock or unlock the padlock, respectively.
The second purpose of the locking device is, as previously mentioned, to hold the front plate and perhaps also the locking cylinder in the locking body.
The locking pawl can advantageously be rod-shaped and is preferably constructed as a cylindrical rod, where a recess is made in the periphery from one end, which means that the diameter of this recess is smaller than the largest diameter of the locking pawl which is in other words, an area on the locking pawl with a smaller cross-sectional area where the locking device can engage.
In a preferred variant of a locking pawl for a lock according to the invention, the locking pawl is cylindrical and with a recess / groove in the circumferential direction of the locking pawl.
Such a design allows the locking pawl to rotate about its center axis, which results in increased safety, as you cannot immediately break or hold the locking pawl - it will be able to rotate and thus relieve itself of impact and force.
However, it is also possible that the locking pawl is either cylindrical or not, for example angular or oval, and has a recess that does not go all the way around the locking pawl.
It can be, for example, a cylindrical locking pawl, where the said recess is formed by a bottom hole.
DK 2019 70486 A1 8 The purpose of the locking device is, via the hole between the transverse hole and the carrier, to be able to move with the aid of the carrier, whereby the locking device, when the locking pawl is positioned so that the said recess on the locking pawl is next to the locking device, can completely or partially fill the said recess in the locking pawl.
This happens when the locking device is actuated via the carrier.

The lock 1 consists of a locking body 2, in which a locking pawl / lockable part 3 can be placed in a transverse hole 4 and in a bottom hole 5. In an outwardly open cavity 6 in the locking body 2, a carrier 7 is placed inside which when the lock is mounted is connected with a locking cylinder 8 via coupling means 9. The locking cylinder 8 is arranged to be able to be accommodated in an elongate housing part 100 with an enclosing cylinder cover or wall 10, which is shown here integrated with a front plate 11. When locking cylinder 8, front plate 11, cylinder cover 10 , and carrier 7 is in place in the cavity / cylinder recess 6 in the locking body 2, a locking device 12, here in the form of a rod with rounded ends, can be placed in a hole 13 for this locking device 12.
The locking device 12 can be raised and lowered in the hole 13 via the carrier 7, whereby the locking device 12 can be brought into engagement with a recess 14 or the like in the locking pawl 3, whereby the locking pawl 3 is locked in the locking body 2. In this figure the recess 14 is seen approximately in the middle of the locking pawl 3 , and at one end of the locking pawl 3 a finger grip 15 is seen. The locking body / lock housing 2 is shown here with a rectangular shaped groove 16, where on one side at the end of the locking body 2 an end tower 17 is seen, with a bottom hole 5 for receiving of the lock pawl end 18 when the lock 1 is locked.
DK 2019 70486 A1 10 On the other side of the groove 16 another tower is seen, namely the central tower 19, and along the locking body 2 the transverse hole 4 is seen, for the locking pawl 3. In the central tower 19 the hole 13 for the locking device 12 is also seen.
Figure 2 shows the same as seen in figure 1, but here in cross section along the separated lock 1. Here it is clear how the front plate 11 and the cylinder cover / wall 10 are arranged internally to receive the lock cylinder 8 with a geometric complementarity. The coupling means 9 between the carrier 7 and the locking cylinder 8 are also seen. The locking cylinder 8 is held in place via the front plate 11 and the cylinder cover 10, which here is a continuous unit, by fixing the housing part 100 with the wall / cylinder cover 10 to the locking body. 2 via the locking device 12, which is placed in the hole 13. When the locking pawl 3 is in place in the cross hole 4 and the carrier 7 is turned to the locking position via a key in the locking cylinder 8, the locking device 12 will extend into the recess 14 in the locking pawl 3 and the lock 1 is securely locked.
FIG. 3 shows a variant of a combined front plate 11 and cylinder cover 10, with an oval locking cylinder 8 and a suitable carrier 7.
FIG. 4 shows another variant of a combined front plate 11 and cylinder cover 10, with a teardrop-shaped locking cylinder 8 and a suitable carrier 7.
FIG. 3 and fig. 4 shows for the sake of clarity two of many types of locking cylinders 8, which can be used with a solution according to the invention.
FIG. 5 shows a universal front plate 11 which can be used for several different types of locking cylinders, including the two locking cylinders 8 shown in fig. 3 and in fig. 4.
FIG. 6 shows a variant of a loose cylinder cover 10 used together with a loose front plate 11, which can either be universal as shown in fig. 5 or which may be adapted to the current locking cylinder 8.
FIG. 7 shows another variant of a loose cylinder cover 10, which is used together with a loose front plate 11, which can either be universal as shown in fig. 5 or which may be adapted to the current locking cylinder 8.
DK 2019 70486 A1 11 Fig. 8 shows a variant of the locking device 12, formed from an outer cylindrical tube 12 'which produces holding of the elongate housing part 100 to the lock housing 2, as well as an inner tube 12 "which is moved up and down relative to the outer tube 12' to and from engagement with the recess 14, depending on the movement / rotation of the carrier surface 7 'of the carrier 7 when operating the locking cylinder 8. The lock 1 may be made of machined metal. The elongate housing part 100 may be of metal or of molded plastic, for example made by a plastic molding process with a core with a contour corresponding to the outer contour of the locking cylinder 8. As can be seen, the wall 10 has an outer surface with a geometry complementary to the contour of the elongate first cavity 6 to prevent rotation relative to the elongate first cavity 6 of the housing part 100 about a longitudinal axis A of the elongate first cavity 6. , and which during a mounting condition allows a displacement, for example along the said axis A, of the housing part 100 relative to the elongate first cavity 6. Preferably, the wall as shown has an inner surface with a geometry complementary to an outer contour. of the locking cylinder 8 to prevent rotation relative to the elongate first cavity 6 of the locking cylinder 8 about the longitudinal axis A of the elongate first cavity 6, and which during a mounting condition allows a displacement, for example along said axis A, of the locking cylinder 8 relative to housing part 100.
The housing part 100 can, as shown in fig. 6, for example, have external dimensions D1, D2 in the order of magnitude resp. 22mm +/- 10% and 40mm +/- 10%, which allows the manufacture of a housing part 100 with a cavity 110 with an inner contour for receiving and rotationally holding many of the commonly used locking cylinders 8 mentioned above. The first cavity 6 can advantageously be manufactured with a contour which is oval, with dimensions corresponding to D1 and D2 mentioned above, for the sake of metalworking.
